Creative Contractors recently completed a 27,350-square-foot renovation of the Natatorium at the Long Center in Clearwater. A community fixture since 1990, the facility is home to an Olympic-sized indoor pool and serves swimmers and families from throughout the region.
The project included replacement of the natatorium’s building envelope, a new roof, and a rooftop solar array featuring 401 panels with a total capacity of 429 kW. A new HVAC system was also installed to address heat and humidity within the pool area.
Creative also replaced pool mechanical room equipment and installed new perimeter gutter drains and a deck coating around the lap pool.
These improvements enhance the durability and comfort of the facility as it continues to support swimming, recreation, and water safety education for the community.
